Data Types in Slaesforce 

In this topic, along with the various field types, we will learn what the different data types are. Data type and field type user names typically share the same names. We use a variety of Data types depending on the situation.

Different field types can be categorised based on the types of data. This video shows examples of the next three data types.

Picklist : Allows users to select only on list from a group of lists that we defined. Picking one among many.

Picklist (multi-select) : Allows users to select many from a group of list that we defined

URL : Allows users to enter a valid website address.
